BTC falls 3.17% further below its average as trading recovers but selling persists

Yesterday's rebound did not hold. BTC fell 3.17% over the past 24 hours as trading returned from a low level to its historical norm, while price moved further below its short-term average. That matters more than a quiet pullback. The view for the next 24 hours is bearish, though the sharp short-term decline leaves room for a rebound. The key is whether any bounce can regain the average with sustained buying.

Price falls as trading recovers, reversing yesterday's repair

BTC stood at 81,253.20 USDT. Its 24-hour change shifted from yesterday's 1.04% gain to a 3.17% decline. Among 180 periods with matching cutoff times, only about 6 had a decline as large or larger. Volume rose from yesterday's 65,487 BTC to 151,002 BTC, near the current historical average of 146,873 BTC. Trading returned, but price slid from the 24-hour high of 84,340.20 USDT toward the low of 81,138.40 USDT. Yesterday's tension between a rising price and weak participation has therefore become price weakness during more normal trading. Recovering volume does not mean sellers will always dominate, but it has not supported this rebound.

Price moves further below its averages while active buying weakens

BTC trades below its 10-day average of 83,846.69 USDT and its 30-day average of 82,638.25 USDT. The short-term average spread fell to negative 472.72 USDT; among 180 comparable periods, only about 1 was as low or lower. This is more than an ordinary small price swing. Active net buying strength is also unusually weak, with only about 4 comparable periods as low or lower. Buyers have not absorbed the decline even as trading increased. The overall signal is bearish, consistent with the price's position and active buying. These points explain the shift from yesterday's tentative rebound to a more cautious view of further weakness.

A steep short-term slide leaves room for a bounce

Short-term RSI momentum is about 22.23. It gauges the pace of recent gains and losses and is also unusually low against comparable history. This is meaningful counterevidence to the bearish view: a rapid decline can produce a temporary rebound even when the broader picture remains weak. Funding in the covered perpetual market is still positive at about +0.006741%, so financing sentiment has not turned wholly negative; that alone cannot outweigh the price and buying evidence. If price regains its 10-day average of 83,846.69 USDT with sustained improvement in active buying, the bearish view should be reassessed. If it breaks the 24-hour low of 81,138.40 USDT without buyers returning, the case for continued weakness grows stronger.
