BTC rises 1.04% above its short-term average as trading picks up

Yesterday BTC barely moved as trading fell to a rare low. Over the latest 24 hours it rose 1.04%, volume recovered, and price moved back above its 10-day average. We still expect a range over the next 24 hours: the rebound has made progress, but active buying and the broader funding backdrop have yet to strengthen with it. The change from yesterday is clear; the question is whether renewed activity can sustain the rise.

Trading recovers and BTC regains its short-term average

At 09:30 Beijing time, BTC stood at 82,447.30 USDT after trading between 80,622.00 and 82,527.80 USDT over the past 24 hours. Volume rose from 44,949 BTC in the previous daily report to 102,167 BTC, while price shifted from barely moving to a 1.04% gain. A rise backed by more trading carries more weight than yesterday's quiet pause. Yet volume remains below its historical mean of 146,464 BTC and below about 73% of comparable periods. Participation has not returned to its usual level.

Price is now above its 10-day average of 82,313.07 USDT, having been below it yesterday. That is the clearest sign of near-term repair. The short-term moving-average spread is also unusually strong: only about 9 of 180 comparable periods were higher. Price remains below the 30-day average of 83,574.69 USDT, however. Regaining the nearer average matters, but does not settle whether the longer weak stretch has ended.

Price improves, but active buying and funds lag

Active trading offers an important counterpoint to the rebound. The latest short-term trend in active buying minus active selling is about positive 27 BTC, close to its historical middle level. A separate measure of net active buying strength is lower than about 86% of comparable periods. Price has risen without an equally strong, sustained buying edge. The broader signal therefore still points to a range rather than extending one day's gain into a forecast.

ETF flows show a net outflow of 5.03 hundred million US dollars over 5 days, while stablecoin supply changed by -0.48% over seven days. Neither offers broad funding support for the rebound. These measures cover different periods and cannot explain any single hour's price move; they limit confidence in calling a short rebound a new trend. Price and trading have improved, but funding has yet to follow.

Holding the average matters more than a single day's gain

Over the next 24 hours, first watch whether BTC can hold near its 10-day moving average of 82,313.07 USDT as trading continues to recover, then break above this period's high of 82,527.80 USDT. If active buying strengthens as price approaches the 30-day average, the range view needs to be reassessed. If price slips back below the 10-day average, especially if heavier trading carries it through this period's low of 80,622.00 USDT, the rebound may prove brief. Both checks depend on actual trading, not one upward probe.
