BTC fell 0.90% yesterday and rose 0.40% over the past 24 hours to 80,050.00 USDT. Yet the intraday low moved down from yesterday's 79,809.20 USDT to 79,321.80 USDT. The rebound recovered part of the decline without ending the pattern of lower lows. Five-day ETF net outflows also widened from 5.24 hundred million US dollars in the last report to 10.49 hundred million US dollars. The view for the next 24 hours remains bearish: buyers have stepped in, but have yet to show they can keep lifting the lows.
A positive close still came with a lower low and below-normal volume
BTC reached 80,819.40 USDT and ended at 80,050.00 USDT, still below its 10-day average of 81,609.05 USDT. Volume rose from yesterday's 72,752 BTC to 119,913 BTC. That recovery in participation is a real positive. Still, the mean across 180 comparable periods ending at the same hour is 146,112 BTC, and current volume is lower than about 62% of them. More trading helped price recover some ground but did not preserve yesterday's low. This looks like a contested low rather than a confirmed advance. The rebound would carry more weight if trading continued to improve and price moved back above the short-term average.

Price recovered part of the decline, but the low moved lower.
Active selling persists as ETF outflows limit the rebound
The latest change in active buys minus active sells turned to negative 75 BTC, versus positive 31 BTC in the last report. Despite today's price gain, the most recent trading did not extend yesterday's brief improvement in buying. Five-day ETF net outflows reached 10.49 hundred million US dollars, versus a mean outflow of just 0.19 hundred million US dollars across 180 comparable periods; the current reading is lower than about 84% of them. ETF flows do not explain every intraday move, but their widening outflow gives the rebound less support from broader funding. Seven-day stablecoin supply growth is negative 0.84%, versus a historical mean of negative 0.19%; only about 10 of 180 comparable periods were as low or lower. These funding signals line up with active selling, and the composite signal remains weak.

Price edged higher while recent active trading still favored sellers.
Watch whether the new low holds before trusting the rebound
If price falls below 79,321.80 USDT again while active selling persists, today's recovery will do little to change the pattern of lower lows. Conversely, if volume keeps growing, active buying improves and price regains the area around the 10-day average of 81,609.05 USDT, the bearish view needs reassessment. The next pullback's ability to hold its low matters more than one positive close.
Data note: As of 2026-10-27 09:50 UTC+8, price and volume cover the past 24 hours. Historical comparisons use 180 comparable periods ending at the same hour; funding measures retain their own observation windows.
